What to Expect From Your Day on the River....

Generally speaking, the day will start around sunrise with a cup of hot liquid of your choice as we seine the river for aquatic life. From there we'll work on fly selection, delivery and technique that will effectively imitate the natural. Some part of the day may be spent on the "Big River" and when the heat of the day kicks up we will retreat to a cool pond or a shady mountain stream. When hunger strikes, we will stop and enjoy a meal which I have prepared on your request. I am fond of all of the great food this state has to offer, so often times I will focus on whats in season, and if you're a carnivore, theres a lot of that too! Good food and a day of fly fishing in vermont ..... maybe you should stay home and do chores.....???!!! Anyhow a full day ends after the sun has set and sometimes may go into darkness which is a whole other element. In the end, I want you to leave with a deeper knowledge of fly fishing as well as the healthiest addiction you could ever imagine having!

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

• 50% due within two weeks of booking. Checks or money orders accepted. Remainder is due on the day of the trip.
• Cancellations are due 30 days in advance of the trip to qualify for a full refund.
• In the event a cancellation is necessary due to inclement weather, you will receive a full refund or you can transfer your deposit to a future trip.

In the heat of the summer, it is important not to put any added stress on the fish. If the water temperatures are high and the water level is low, I reserve the right to cancel the trip. More often than not, fishable water can be found with a little creativity. Full refunds will be given in the event a cancellation is necessary.
